I live in Hoodi near ITPL, Bangalore and work in Synopsys which is in RMZ Infinity, Old Madras Road. There are lots of buses in this route; but there is not a single Volvo bus. There is a good news coming from BMTC today that a new Volvo bus route has been launched from Whitefield (near Sathya Saya Baba Hospital) to KBS, Majestic via RMZ Infinity. This route is named 319CT. (KBS is Kempegowda Bus Station, also known as Majestic Bus Station opposite to Bangalore Central railway station).
BMTC has also launched two more new Volvo buses through my place Hoodi:
I am more interested in 319CT as it covers my office route. However I found that BMTC's spread-sheet for 319CT is a bit confusing. So I've created a new view of the 319CT timing here. See my view of 319CT here in PDF format or Excel format.
There will be three buses plying in this route. I have used three color codes (yellow, blue and white) for these three buses in my table. A bus start from KBS and then goes to Whitefield. It takes 5 minutes break in Whitefield and then returns to KBS. See the following two tables.
Let us start using these buses. We can help in reducing Bangalore's traffic condition by using public transportation and contribute to a greener earth.

- 504: From Hoodi to Domlur

There is not a single bus from Koramanagla, Banashankari, or Silkboard side to RMZI. Of course there are buses through outer ring road, but that is only until tin factory. Last mile becomes a challenge.
Any idea, how to get BMTC start a bus from BSK to KR puram railway statation, via RMZInfinity. Lots of our RMZI tentant's employees come from that side of bangalore

@Bhagyashree: Yes, the last mile is difficult, with a laptop bag, lunch bag, a gym bag (and a purse for ladies). There are many buses from Tin Factory to Silkboard side. The best thing would be for RMZI to start some shuttle services between RMZI and Tin Factory during the morning and evening hours. I think we can give this idea to RMZI through our facilities dept.
@Mounita: What is your husband's name? Perhaps he and I can co-ordinate while using this Volvo bus. Although I took the bus this morning from home, and it came in time, yet I'm a bit worried about the long wait that I may have to take while returning from office. It will be good to get a company.
Is this route 319CT active now? I was waiting for this bus yesterday between 6:10Pm till 7PM @ Whitefield TTMC (near TCS). Can somebody confirm?
@Bhagyashree, there is a community in Facebook named "Bangalore New Bus Route Suggestions", they are looking for people's suggestions and taking polls, the results of the poll will be taken to BMTC if they are good enough. Just give a try over there.
@gnanabharathi I work at HP and have seen this bus very rarely, it goes in front of my office but can't trust the timings
@gnanabharathi I always see this bus coming from ITPL at around 6:15PM in Mahadevapura area - between Phoenix Market City to HP's office. So it must be leaving ITPL at around 5:45PM. I think you were a bit late that day when you waited for it from 6:10PM. It does not run in 45 minutes now. Probably now only one bus runs in the morning and then one in the evening.
